We call him Jack...

To wrap up our week study of pumpkins, we carved a pumpkin for our class. But before we gave our friend Jack a very big headache, we reported some math facts about him. We discovered that our pumpkin weighed 10 lbs, was 20 inches around, and floated in a tub of water.

We talked about the five senses as we felt the inside of the very smelly pumpkin.

We got to look inside at all of the "guts" or our new kindergarten word pulp.

Our newest member of the class.

His first name is Jack.

His last name is O' Lantern.

And last but not least... We counted all of the seeds. All 432 of them by tens.

And to remember all of our fun facts, we completed our pumpkin report.
