We are speeding through the alphabet and learning all about the letters! We have done many activities involving letters. The children loved looking for the letter R when I gave them different letter manipulatives.

The lion table is using letter magnets.
The hippo and zebra tables are using wooden beads with letters written on them.
The elephant table is using foam letters for their search.
And the monkey table got in on the foam letter action as well... this activity is a great way to show children the letter R can look different when printed in a book. They kept saying, "You are trying to trick us!!!!" when they saw a different shaped R!
When we were studying the letter S,
we made silly square snakes...
And last but not least we had a couple of birthdays the past few weeks...
