This week we did two math projects. The first math project was to explore the concept of more and less using the balance scale. The children placed the number of bears on the scale that corresponded to the number they pulled out of the bag.

The second math project we accomplished this week involved our study of 3-D shapes. I gave the children marshmallows and toothpicks to construct a cube. After I convinced them to not to eat the marshmallows they got right to work.
