Happy Thanksgiving!

This past week we celebrated Thanksgiving down the kindergarten hall. I just wonder how many turkeys... with brightly colored feathers... were made across America this week?

Before we ate our feast, I read the book, Chicken Fingers, Mac & Cheese, Why Do You Always Have To Say Please? This was the jumping off point for my manners and dinner table talk to the children. Did you see any difference at dinner? I hope so because I am trying to help out:)
Our Thanksgiving "snack" included corn, applesauce, mini cornbread muffins,
deer roast, and pumpkin pie. The children were very nice in trying the food and using their manners if they didn't particularly care for the snack.

After our snack, we made teepee towns. This included two of our 3-D shapes that we have been discussing... cones and cylinders.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
